Cut through the meadows or take a shortcut. This exhibition by Saint-Etienne artist Franck Chalendard takes you on a journey from painting on canvas to painting in volume: the artist is testing out new media and unexpected motifs, and playing with the scenography of his works, whose varied angles of view encourage movement. And that's how colour in volume permeates the rooms of the Château-musée, creating a musicality in his creative universe: improvisation, counterpoint and the rhythm of contrast choreograph his works.
